Mark Reder
Senior Vice President and General Manager Fleishman-Hillard Canada
Mark Reder is senior vice president and managing director with Fleishman-Hillard in Vancouver. In addition to leading the public affairs and communications team in British Columbia, he is responsible for advising clients in several areas, including natural resources and energy, environment, information technology, and government deregulation.
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Mark served as the commercial and economic consul at the British High Commission in Canada. He was a key advocate of British interests in western Canada. He also served as a political adviser to a provincial Cabinet minister and has been actively involved in Liberal Party politics in British Columbia.
Mr. Reder holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of British Columbia. He studied Chinese at the National University in Taiwan and helped establish the first cross-cultural communications consulting practice in the country. He has worked and traveled extensively in Asia and Europe.
