Linda Smith Executive Vice President, Senior Partner and Regional Director

Linda Smith joined Fleishman-Hillard in 1993 to head up Canadian operations. Fleishman-Hillard is now considered one of the leading public relations agencies in Canada. Linda is now responsible for driving North American growth strategies working primarily with Fleishman-Hillard offices in New York, California and Canada.

Linda sits on the Senior Management Committee of Fleishman-Hillard Inc.

During her 15 years as operational lead of Fleishman-Hillard Canada she oversaw the growth of the agency from start up to 200 consultants under a variety of brands including Fleishman-Hillard Canada, High Road, iStudio and Avant.

Linda has extensive experience in corporate affairs, issues management and crisis communications, including: planning, crisis simulation training, media training and counsel. Much of her career has been spent in marketing communications and health care Her early career was with Broadcast News/Canadian Press in Toronto covering provincial and national affairs.

Prior to joining Fleishman Hillard, Linda worked at Hill and Knowlton Canada joining that agency in its start up phase. Ms. Smith is from Montreal and attended Ryerson Polytechnical University in the journalism program.
